Actually we wanted to celebrate a birthday in the inn, unfortunately we couldn't because of the new regulations. That is why we used the pick-up service offered and were very satisfied. Our order was received very friendly on the phone with all special requests. We could pick up the food at the requested time. Here, too, I was greeted very friendly and the meal was already ready. The dishes were fresh and very, very tasty despite the transport route. French fries and schnitzel were still crispy. The prices are more than fair and the portion is sufficient. We'll come back or order again!

Pleasant, tasty and good! At first we noticed the waiter (probably the boss) as unpleasant, as he was very unfriendly to walk-in customers who asked for a table. But he was nice to us and in the end we understood why he didn't want to give up the tables inside. Thunderstorms were forecast and when it really came, all guests from outside could immediately find space inside. He took part ... but a small request: Please kindly tell the walk-in customers that unfortunately the tables are currently not available

We were on a normal Saturday in Görlitz to visit and were allowed here with a group unannounced in the rustic back room for lunch (which we did not succeed in three other restaurants previously). Particularly praiseworthy is the attention that the children were first provided while the grown-ups took their drink. There was no children's menu, but the meal was simply put together: some goulash, some red cabbage and a dumpling.

The food consistently hearty and sumptuous, just as mentioned above - traditional. Quite delicious and freshly prepared. Who likes this is in good hands here and the city watch can also be warmly recommended. Vegetarians or those who are in the mood for modern cuisine will certainly not be addressed by the offer of the city guard. I thought that was all right, but a step in the direction of - Here & Now - the city guard certainly could not hurt.
